Patna, After the ban on two-hour namaz break in Assam Assembly, politics has started regarding this. Former Deputy CM of Bihar and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has raised questions on this decision and has strongly attacked the BJP. Tejashwi has accused the BJP of targeting Muslims.

In fact, the Assembly Speaker in Assam has taken a big decision and banned the two-hour break for Friday prayers in the Assembly. After this decision, now the Muslim employees of the Assembly will not get a two-hour break for Friday prayers. A break was given from 12 noon to 2 pm. Within this two hours, the government employees posted in the Assembly used to offer Friday prayers, but now this old practice has been abolished. Politics has started heating up over this.

Attacking CM Sarma and BJP, Tejashwi said that the Chief Minister of Assam does such things to gain cheap popularity. BJP people have made Muslims a soft target. Sometimes the Waqf Board bill comes and somewhere CAA and NRC are brought. In some way or the other, BJP people want to harass minorities and spread hatred in the society.

He said that these people should know that everyone has sacrificed for the independence of the country. Muslim brothers have also sacrificed for the independence of the country, this cannot be ignored. According to the Constitution in this country, everyone is allowed to do this and every religion has the right to equality.

Tejashwi said that here a BJP MLA or minister was jumping in the assembly like a monkey and saying that he will snatch the right to vote from Muslims. We stood up once and gave a cold shoulder, has anyone stood up since then? BJP people keep doing this type of work. Why is Chief Minister Nitish Kumar silent? As long as we are here, there is no one who can snatch the right of Muslims.
