On July 17, 2026, a case was registered at Sundarsi Police Station, Shajapur District, under sections 331(3), 305(a) of the IPC, Crime No. 133/2026, based on the complaint of Kailash, son of Bondulal Chauhan, resident of Ghatiya Khurd. The complainant reported the theft of approximately 500 grams of silver, estimated to be worth ₹95,000, from his home.

Given the seriousness of the case, a special team was formed by Sundarsi Police Station in-charge, Manisha Sharma, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police, Shajapur, Priyanka Shukla, Additional Superintendent of Police, Ghanshyam Malviya, and Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh.

During the investigation, the accused, Deepak, son of Bondulal Chauhan, resident of Ghatiya Khurd, who is the complainant's brother, was arrested. 500 grams of stolen silver was recovered from the accused's possession. The accused was arrested and presented before the court.
