Udham Singh Nagar SSP Ajay Ganpati takes a strong action against lawbreakers
94 arms licenses seized, major action taken against violations
Udham Singh Nagar "Monthly Crime Review Meeting" was held at the police office under the chairmanship of Senior Superintendent of Police, Udham Singh Nagar, Ajay Ganpati. At the meeting, the following strict instructions were issued to all police officers and station heads in the district to control crime and improve law and order:
1. Attack on illegal activities and fraud:
Action against pigeon-flying: Strict legal action should be taken immediately against agents who commit fraud under the guise of sending people abroad.
Immigration agency license verification:
The documents and immigration licenses of immigration agencies operating in the area should be thoroughly verified.
Action against Land Fraud: Prompt and strict action should be taken in cases of land fraud and land mafia involvement.
Action against Drug Trafficking and Internal Involvement: Drug users and those involved in the illegal trade should be identified and sent to jail. If any police personnel are found to be involved in this illegal trade (report of involved personnel), a report should be prepared and immediately sent to higher authorities.
2. Law and Order and Preventive Policing:
Chowki-wise Action under Section 107/116 CrPC: To maintain peace and order, effective preventive action should be taken against anti-social elements under Section 107/116 CrPC at the outpost level.
Pending e-Summons (e-Saman Pendency): Pending e-Summons issued by the court should be reviewed and their 100% disposal should be ensured.
Verification of arms licenses from outside states: Police verification of individuals residing in the district who possess arms licenses from outside states should be conducted with utmost care and accuracy.
3. Improvement in Pending Investigations and Challan Process:
Disposal of Pending Cyber Crimes: All cybercrime cases pending in cyber cells and police stations for one year or more should be resolved immediately by taking effective action.
Improvement in Challan Process: The quality of challans issued by the police and the legal procedures should be improved.
4. Modern Policing and Security Measures:
Use of Body Worn Cameras and Gadgets: CPU and Traffic Police personnel will compulsorily use headsets and body-worn cameras while on duty.
Public awareness for CCTV cameras: All police station/outpost in-charges should motivate citizens and businesses in their areas to install as many CCTV cameras as possible for security purposes.
Strict accountability for firing incidents: If any firing incident occurs in any area, the concerned outpost in-charge will be held directly accountable and strict punishment will be taken against them. During the monthly crime review, 10 officers/employees who performed outstanding work were honored.
