Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal, exercising the powers conferred in the Shop and Commercial Establishment Act, keeping in view the public interest regarding the weekly closure of shops and establishments located in the district, has approved weekly closure days for various places in the district for the year 2025, barring exceptions. DM Manish Bansal issued the order and informed that weekly closure has been declared on Monday for all shops and commercial establishments of Behat, Rampur Maniharan, Gangoh, Nagal and Chhutmalpur, on Tuesday for all shops and commercial establishments of Saharanpur-1 Saharanpur Municipal Corporation area except all beauty parlors and barber shops, book and stationery sellers located on Court Road, on Sunday for book and stationery shops located on Saharanpur-1 Court Road, on Friday for power driven establishments, hosiery industry, all wood carving shops, saw machines, commercial establishments which are power driven.

The District Magistrate said that similarly, all the shops and commercial establishments of Teetar, Sarsawa, Ambehta Peer will remain closed on Wednesday, all the shops and commercial establishments of Nanota on Thursday, all the shops and commercial establishments of Nakud on Friday, all the shops and commercial establishments of Chilkana on Saturday, all the shops and commercial establishments of Deoband on Sunday, all the shops and commercial establishments of Gagalhadi will remain closed on Saturday.
