Shajapur, Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Mr. Yashpal Singh Rajput and under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. TS Baghel, Traffic Police Shajapur is running a continuous checking campaign against school vehicles operating in Shajapur city and “Nek Vyakti Awareness Campaign” from 01 July to 15 July.

As soon as the new academic session started, Shajapur Traffic Police Station Incharge Saurabh Shukla checked the documents of school buses and vehicles operating in Shajapur city, along with character verification and breath analyzer test of bus drivers and conductors. For this, various checking parties were formed by the traffic police, which went to different schools in the city and checked the documents of buses and vehicles.

Traffic in-charge Saurabh Shukla, District Education Officer Mr. Vivek Dubey, District Transport Officer Mr. Rakesh Bhuria and Police Station Traffic Checking Team held a meeting with the drivers of CM Rise School buses and other schools and made them aware of the Supreme Court guidelines and gave information about safe transportation of school children and traffic rules. Along with this, drivers and conductors were informed about following traffic rules, driving safely and not seating more school children than the capacity and appealed that "they should follow the traffic rules, this is very important for the safety of you and the children coming to school".

Along with this, information was also given about the Good Samaritan Scheme being run by the Road Transport Government of India. Under the scheme, any good person who can save the life of an injured person in the golden hour of a road accident, is given an amount of Rs 5 thousand as an incentive by the government. It is known that the Good Person Awareness Campaign is being run by the Traffic Police from July 01 to July 15. In which common citizens are being encouraged to save lives from road accidents.

In the above action taken by Shajapur Traffic Police, Subedar Saurabh Chauhan posted at Traffic Police Station, Subedar Ravi Shankar Verma, Assistant Sub Inspector Shyam Chaudhary, Ashok Dubey, Head Constable Amit Jat and Constable Gaurav Sharma, Constable Nilesh Chauhan, Nilesh Bharti, Rakesh Pandav, Kamlesh Sharma, Manish Yadav were also present.
