Best throw in the third attempt
Neeraj could not participate in this tournament for the last two times due to injury, but this time he participated in it and managed to remain on top. Neeraj started this tournament with a foul. After this, he threw 83.45 meters in the second attempt, but in the third attempt he threw 85.29 meters which was enough to make him the winner in the end. Neeraj threw 82.17 meters in the fourth attempt and 81.01 meters in the fifth attempt. Neeraj fouled the sixth and last attempt.
Neeraj is in good rhythm
27-year-old Neeraj is looking in good rhythm this season. He recently won the Paris Diamond League. He also crossed the 90 meter mark while finishing second in the Doha Diamond League last month. He had his best throw of 90.23 meters. Now he has maintained his rhythm by winning the Golden Spike tournament. Neeraj was a strong contender to win the title of this tournament from the beginning.
