Chhattisgarh, three soldiers were martyred in firing with Naxalites near Jonaguda and Aliguda on Bijapur-Sukma border. Meanwhile, 15 soldiers are injured. The injured soldiers have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. This is the same place where 23 soldiers lost their lives in 2021.

According to the information, Naxalites suddenly attacked Tekulgudam camp on Tuesday morning. A total of 18 soldiers were injured in this incident, out of which three soldiers were sacrificed. The injured soldiers were referred to Jagdalpur Medical College in a chopper. The condition of four soldiers is critical, who have been referred to Raipur. The encounter is still going on with the Cobra battalion and DRG soldiers.

Injured soldiers told that Sukma Police has opened a new camp for security forces personnel in Tekulgudam today itself. STF and DRG personnel were out on patrol searching towards Jonaguda-Aliguda near the camp. During this the Maoist opened fire. The soldiers also retaliated by giving a befitting reply to the Maoist firing. Seeing the increasing pressure of the security forces, the Maoists fled under the cover of the forest.
