Deoband | Saharanpur, National Sports Day was celebrated at Maples Academy by encouraging the players on the occasion of Hockey Magician Major Dhyanchand Jayanti. The program was started by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati and cutting the ribbon. During this, dqn sports competitions were organized among the students in the school. In which badminton sports competition was included for students from class 3 to 9. In which all the students participated enthusiastically. The selected students displayed their best sports and talent. Special guest SDM Deoband Yuvraj Singh and CO Deoband Ravikant Parashar felicitated the students who secured first, second and third positions in the competition by giving them medals. On this occasion, the Principal of the school Dr. Chitra Joshi while wishing everyone on the occasion of Sports Day said that sports are an important part of our life. Sports keep us fit and healthy. It infuses new energy in us. On this occasion, the entire staff of the school including Utkarsh Vats, Ankur Rathi, Abhay, Dushyant, Shubham Sharma, Mandeep Kaur etc. were present.
