Shajapur, As per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority New Delhi and MP State Legal Services Authority Jabalpur, National Lok Adalat will be organized in Shajapur, Tehsil Court Shujalpur on 14th September 2024 under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge Shajapur Lalit Kishore. In Lok Adalat, along with civil, criminal, motor accident claim, cheque bounce, labour dispute, family dispute, electricity, land acquisition and other matters pending in the court, pre-litigation cases related to water tax, property tax, bank loan, electricity will also be resolved. District Judge and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Shajapur Siraj Ali informed that for resolving the cases in National Lok Adalat, the Principal District and Sessions Judge has constituted a total of 15 benches of 08 judicial officers in the district headquarters and 07 judicial officers in Tehsil Court Shujalpur and has also nominated presiding officers for all the benches. One advocate has been nominated as a conciliator member in each of the said benches. On the date of the event, various cases will be placed on the table of these benches and the cases will be resolved through mutual reconciliation agreements. District Judge Siraj Ali has expected cooperation from all the Advocate Associations of the district and their advocate members in resolving the cases to make the National Lok Adalat a success. Apart from this, a separate special bench number 15 has been constituted in the district to settle the pending cases related to the Consumer Forum. If the advocates and the parties want to get the cases pending in the Consumer Forum resolved through National Lok Adalat, then they can contact the Consumer Forum as soon as possible and get their cases placed in the National Lok Adalat and avail the benefits of the Lok Adalat.
