Merta Road, Merta Road Police has taken a named accused into custody on the charge of making inflammatory remarks in Merta Road. Merta Road Police Station Officer Motiram Dewasi informed that on September 17 at 02-18 pm, accused Bhuraram alias Pintu Jangid called from his mobile number and said that I am Bhuraram alias Pintu Jangid from Merta Road and he told that the people of Merta Road Police Station are taking my name falsely that Pintu Jangid is stopping DJ during Ganesh Visarjan in Medta Road town, on which I said that there is no such thing. Then he told me that the people of Medta Road Police Station are defaming my name. The crowd of the village can come to the Merta Road police station and set it on fire. He threatened me in this way. Shortly after, he made a post viral on the @Zee&News Merta Nagaur WhatsApp group with his WhatsApp number and Pintu Jangid Merta Zee Media name at 2.23 pm. In which provocative comments were also made to spoil the communal harmony of Merta Road. Under which the accused has been taken into custody.

In this way, the said Bhuraram alias Pintu Jangi has made the misleading information viral on social media by writing on WhatsApp group to scare the Menta Road police personnel from discharging their duties and to set the police station on fire. On finding the case under sections 132, 351 (3), 353 (2) BNS 2023 and 66E IT Act, the case was registered and further investigation was entrusted to Shri Rajveer Singh, Puni Police Station Officer, Menta City.
