Katni district SP Abhijeet Ranjan told that since January 30, the deceased Ram Bharan Dahiya had left the house asking to go to Maihar, since then he had not reached home and yesterday on February 2, Ram Bharan's body was found in a half-dead state in the Sukhi canal located near Jhukehi. Police found dead body and on the basis of statements of family members and information from informers arrested three accused, one of whom is a minor. The names of the arrested accused are Monu alias Vinayak Gupta and the second is Shivam Patel and the third accused is a minor. When the three accused were strictly interrogated by the Camor police, they confessed to the crime. The arrested accused told the police that Ram Bharan Dahiya was murdered over a dispute over gambling money and his body was burnt in Jhukehi. They fled from the spot by throwing it in the nearby Sukhi canal..SP Abhijeet Ranjan also told that a Toofan car of the deceased Ram Bharan Dahiya has also been found near Jhukehi.
