Mother Rajrajeshwari's son reached Kankeshwari's court
Shobha Yatra took place with pomp and show for 11th year, welcomed everywhere

Shajapur, Maa Kankeshwari Bhakt Mandal's Chunari Yatra, which has been going on for 10 years continuously with the wish of prosperity of the city, better rain and world welfare, took place with pomp and show on Monday this year too, in which city dwellers and villagers set up various stalls at dozens of places to serve the devotees. Kankeshwari Bhakt Mandal also offered good wishes to the mother by draping a chunari of faith on her. Blessings of the mother were taken at Sheetla Mata temple located at Someshwar Mahadev temple located at Somvariya bazaar. After this, the walking journey of Kankeshwari Bhakt Mandal started which reached the court of the mother from Somvariya bazaar via Azad Chowk, Kasera bazaar, Girwar, Jadmi, Bhadouni, while chanting Garba and chanting the mother's name. Here everyone first took darshan of the mother. After this, blessings were taken by offering chunari to the mother. After this, Maha Aarti was performed and Prasadi was distributed. During this, a Bhandara was organized in the temple premises in which not only the city dwellers but also devotees from the surrounding rural areas and nearby districts participated and received the Prasadi. On this occasion, MLA Arun Bhimavad, Municipal Council President Prem Jain, Kiran Singh Thakur, Yatra Incharge Tulsiram Bhavsar and a large number of devotees were present.

The city dwellers greeted and welcomed the devotees participating in the Chunri Yatra and sent them off. First of all, all the devotees were welcomed by the Mata Ji Temple Committee located at Azad Chowk. After this, they were welcomed at about two dozen places including Kasera Bazaar, Karedi Naka, Village Jadmi, Village Bhadouni and refreshments were also arranged at many places, from here the devotees reached the court of Maa Kankeshwari where the temple committee and the villagers also welcomed all the officials and devotees with garlands. After this, everyone entered the temple and had darshan of Mata and draped a Chunri on her. After this, a Bhandara was organized, in which a large number of city dwellers and villagers received the Prasadi.
