Saharanpur, even before the Government of India declared the theme of this year's International Yoga Day as Yoga for Women, Mokshayatan, declared as the country's leading yoga institute by the Ministry of AYUSH, has handed over most of the responsibility of conducting and training yoga camps under its 100-day yoga and Yagya Sanskar series to the women yoga teachers and trainers of the institute. These camps are gaining such momentum that the Yoga Ganga can be seen flowing in every street. In a three-day yoga sanskar camp organized at Nagli Ashram in Numaish Camp, yoga teacher India Yogi Poonam Verma said that we have to become initiative-takers instead of being mere spectators and regretters of the situation and by removing the dirt from our home, town and body-mind, we have to remove the label of dirty city from our city and now give it the identity of cleanliness by flowing the Yoga Ganga in every street. He said that the city which has given cleanliness ambassadors like Gurudev Yogi Bharat Bhushan of India, will have to adopt the basic mantra of yoga, cleanliness, because without cleanliness, the full benefits of yoga cannot be taken. Bharat Yogi Poonam Verma taught yoga seekers several techniques for purifying the body and mind for three consecutive days and said that women should not consider diseases as their destiny, a healthy and awakened woman devoted to yoga has been the backbone of our family and society, which has been playing a big role in the upliftment of the nation. In this camp, along with getting health benefits, women have also pledged to adopt a satvik diet and cultured life. He reiterated the message of Gurudev Swami Bharat Bhushan that by connecting a man with the stream of yoga, we do good to him, but by connecting a woman with yoga, we work to awaken two families and generations. Poonam Verma said that this Har Ghar Yoga Sanskar Abhiyan will continue till Yoga Day to prepare infectious sadhak sadhika. In the camp, many devotees including Ashram head Saint Upasana Puri and Saint Shashwat Puri learned yogic practices and enjoyed the camp.
