Katni, A procession with tazias was taken out on Muharram amidst rain on Sunday in Katni district. The procession reached Karbala through various routes and the tazias were cooled. On the occasion of Ashura, the tenth day of Muharram, the atmosphere in Muslim gathering Dilawar Chowk including Muslim dominated areas was filled with slogans of Ya Ali, Ya Hussain throughout the day. Even after the rain, people of the Muslim community took out Sawari-Tazias with devotion along with the Akhara, which reached Karbala after patrolling in various areas. Where they were cooled as per the rituals. The devotees participating in the procession were moving forward raising slogans like Ya Hasan Ya Hussain Ya Ali in the memory of Hazrat Imam Hasan Hussain. The taziadars and akharadars coming from various localities reached Karbala ground through the procession. The Moharram procession concluded with peace and harmony. In this, Moharram Intezamia Committee, Sher-e-Panjatan Committee, Taj Committee, Syed Baba Committee, Muslim Boys Group Committee and other committees welcomed the happy guests in the langar procession and made the Moharram festival successful. The Moharram festival and procession were made successful due to the hard work of Moharram Committee president Ghulam Jafar, Nawab Khan, Adil Khan, Rizwan Faridi, Tannu Bhai, Pappu Police Wale, Khujju Bhai and other committee members.
