Dhar, MP Chhatarsingh Darbar, MLA Neena Verma and NAPA President Neha Mahesh Bodane along with public representatives inaugurated the state-of-the-art bus stand to be built in the city today. Kushabhau Thakre modern bus stand will take shape in the middle of the city in eight thousand square meters, for which the municipality has also issued a work order to the contractor of Ujjain. The new bus stand, to be built at a cost of Rs 9.71 crore, will also have two main gates, in front of which 40 more shops will be constructed. The modern bus stand will have waiting arrangements for passengers, parking space, accessible toilets and drinking water, and a four-lane road will also be built from the bus stand to Ghoda Chowpatty intersection and Patidar Tirahe. An amount of Rs 970 crore has been allocated to NAPA under the Chief Minister's Urban Area Infrastructure Construction Scheme. On Wednesday, the people's representatives started the work by playing the song in the program organized in the bus stand premises.

New bus stand to be built in eight thousand square meters: At a cost of 9.71 crores, the state-of-the-art Kushabhau bus stand in the heart of the city will take shape in eight thousand square meters, for which work has been started. After the transplant of trees, the work of land leveling will start, after which the construction agencies will start the work. Two separate gates will also be made in the new bus stand like the metros. The construction agency has been given a target to complete the work in one year.
Congress councilors distanced themselves from the programme: Congress councilors distanced themselves from the inauguration program of Kushabhau bus stand, not a single Congress councilor participated in the program held at the bus stand premises on Wednesday. Even on Tuesday, the Congress councilor party raised questions on the inauguration program of the bus stand, accusing the municipality of extravagance.
