Bhopal, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has started a nationwide initiative, "Dekho Apna Desh People's Choice 2024" process on online portal. Under this campaign, public perceptions will be collected on the best tourist attractions including categories such as spiritual, cultural, heritage, nature and wildlife and others. Three destinations will be selected in each category. Citizens have been provided the facility to select the tourist destination of their choice as per category on the basis of voting.
The main objective of the campaign is to develop Indian tourist destinations as world class tourist destinations. To make this campaign convenient for all citizens for public participation, a micro site has been developed on the MyGov platform, which provides citizens the facility to vote for their favorite tourist places in the above categories. This portal is open till 15 September 2024.

Citizens voting in this campaign will be given an opportunity to travel to any one tourist destination of Madhya Pradesh through lucky draw. Along with this, certificates for voting in the campaign will also be made available online.
