Narayanpur, Krishi Jagran and Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi organized the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2024 in New Delhi from 1 to 3 December 2024. In this program, progressive farmers from different regions of the country have been honored to encourage them. In the program, two progressive farmers of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Narayanpur, Mr. Chautu Ram Yadav of village Bangdongri and Mr. Neelkanth Nag of Belgaum were honored with Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2024 on 3 December. With the technical guidance and support of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Narayanpur, both the farmers have increased their source of income by adopting integrated agriculture system in their respective circumstances. Shri Chautu Ram Yadav used to rear native poultry along with paddy in Kharif season, who is currently increasing his income by rearing gram, pea, maize in Rabi season along with fish farming, cow rearing, poultry breeding unit and earthworm compost production in Kharif season. Shri Neelkanth Nag is strengthening his economic condition by rearing fish along with duck and poultry along with paddy in Kharif and capsicum and other vegetables in Rabi season.
