Guna, under the banner of National Institute Saksham working at national level for the welfare of the disabled, memorandum was given to increase the pension of the disabled from 600 to 6000 in all the districts of the three provinces under Madhya Pradesh. In the same sequence, the district unit of Saksham gave a memorandum to the Collector in the name of the Chief Minister of the state Mohan Yadav in the Collectorate office. Giving the information, Saksham's District President, Gopal Saxena said that in different states of the country, disability pension ranging from Rs. 3000 to Rs. 15000 is being given, whereas in Madhya Pradesh it is only Rs. 600, which is Rs. 20 per day, in which it is not only difficult but impossible for the disabled and their families to survive. In this regard, several memorandums were given to the State Government in the past and it was made known, but these are being ignored by the head of the government and the officials. The Head of the Madhya Pradesh Government, the Chief Minister, is again being reminded through memorandums in all the districts that in the interest of the disabled, the monthly pension should be increased as soon as possible.
