Barwani, Under the chairmanship of Collector Dr. Rahul Phating, the meeting of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, Barwani District Cow Husbandry and Livestock Promotion Committee and District Animal Patient Welfare Committee, Barwani was organized in the Collectorate meeting room. In the meeting, all the presidents and vice-presidents of the registered 17 government/non-government cow sheds of Barwani, District Panchayat Barwani Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jagdish Kumar Gome, Agriculture Standing Committee Chairman and other members were present.
During this, Dr. Chandrakant Ratnakar, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, discussed in detail about the health check-up of cows in the cowshed, vaccination, tagging, fodder, water, electricity, winter protection and other arrangements including the audit report of all the cowsheds. The future plans for the cows were also discussed by discussing issues like submission of utility certificate, disposal of dead cows, setting up custom hiring centres, making cow sheds self-reliant etc.
