Saharanpur, As per the instructions of District Magistrate Saharanpur Manish Bansal, a meeting was held in the Collectorate New Auditorium under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate Administration Dr. Archana Dwivedi regarding celebrating the national festival of Independence Day. In the meeting, Additional District Magistrate Administration said that the program should be celebrated with grandeur by implementing the responsibilities assigned to the officers in relation to Independence Day in a better manner. In the programs celebrated traditionally in the district, Prabhat Pheri, flag hoisting, garlanding program on the statues of great men, fruit distribution program, route march, cultural program, wall painting competition and other programs, assigning responsibilities to dignitaries and officers of the society and appealing to improve the program. On this occasion, the Additional District Magistrate informed that the program of garlanding the statues of great men will be held at Gandhi Park, Ghantaghar Chowk, Dehradun Chowk, Chaudhary Charan Singh Chowk, Janakpuri Chowk and other designated places. The responsibility of which has been given to the officers. The fruit distribution program will be held at Government Hospital, Leprosy Ashram, Manav Mandir and other designated places. For this, the city magistrate has been instructed that the quality of the fruits to be distributed should be better. Superintendent of Police City Abhimanyu Manglik, City Magistrate Gajendra Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defense Rajesh Jain, Mahendra Kumar Taneja, Jama Masjid Manager Maulvi Farid, Aamir Khan, Ravindra Miglani along with respected members of the society and senior officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
