Shajapur, Maternity waiting room was started in the Mother and Child Health Center. On Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Ajay Salvia, Civil Surgeon Dr. MK Joshi, Shailendra Soni inaugurated the maternity waiting room by cutting the ribbon. During this, Dr. Salvia said that the relatives of pregnant women suffering from serious diseases like BP, high risk etc. used to bring them to the district hospital only after labor pain, in such a situation both the mother and the child were at risk and many times due to late arrival at the hospital and not getting timely treatment, the life of pregnant women coming from far away and the newborn remained at risk, so with the aim of preventing such incidents, a maternity waiting room has been inaugurated in the Mother and Child Health Center of the District Hospital, in which pregnant women from far away will be identified in advance and admitted before delivery. After this they will be treated. Here, high risk and diseased pregnant women will be admitted a few days in advance so that their delivery can be safe. After this, the pregnant women will be shifted to other wards after delivery. Rajdatt Dubey, Neha Sanwale, Kiran Padole, Ashok Jaiswal etc. were present at the inauguration of the waiting room.
