Hajipur, the absconding accused in the Rs 20 crore gold robbery case from Reliance showroom has been arrested by STF and Vaishali police. The arrested criminal was planning to rob a bank in Hajipur along with his accomplices, when Bihar STF and Vaishali police took joint action and nabbed four criminals.
In fact, the criminals had looted gold worth Rs 20 crore from Reliance showroom in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Dehradun police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for catching the absconding criminal Avinash Kumar alias Boss in the Rs 20 crore gold robbery case. Avinash Kumar alias Boss was constantly dodging the police.
He has been arrested by Vaishali police and STF. Other criminals arrested with him, Dharmendra Kumar is a resident of Samastipur while Rakesh Kumar, Mayank Kumar are residents of Diggi Kala West under Hajipur Sadar police station area. Police have recovered a pistol, two bullets, a car and 2.215 kg of hashish from them. At present, the police is interrogating the arrested criminal.
