Regarding the incident, local people told that flames rose from Devendra Paswan's house. The fire took a fierce form in no time, causing panic in the surrounding area.

After this, the district administration sent a big fire vehicle to the spot, which controlled the fire after hours of effort. However, during this time more than 50 houses were completely burnt to ashes. At the same time, property worth lakhs of rupees kept in the houses was also burnt to ashes.
