Jaunpur, A major road accident has taken place in Jaunpur, UP. A horrific road accident took place near Sarokhanpur village under Badalpur police station of Jaunpur district at around 5 am today. Vehicles going to Ayodhya met with an accident in two separate accidents. In this, 9 pilgrims lost their lives while 40 people were injured. As soon as the information was received, DM-SSP and other officials reached the spot.

According to the information, after the Maha Kumbh bath, two vehicles met with a road accident in Jaunpur. In this accident, nine devotees travelling in both the vehicles died. About 40 people were also injured. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

Sumo was going from Varanasi to Ayodhya

It is being told that the Tata Sumo with Jharkhand number was going from Varanasi to Ayodhya with the devotees. As soon as the bus reached Sarokhanpur on Thursday morning, it collided with a vehicle. Five people in the Sumo died on the spot. 6 people were seriously injured. When the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital with the help of the villagers.

There were 8 people in the Sumo, including a child, a man and 3 women. Five of these people died on the spot. While three others were injured and are undergoing treatment. All the Sumo passengers were residents of Jharkhand.

Bus collided with a trailer parked on the highway

The administrative team had not yet come to normal after the rescue work of the Sumo accident, when about half an hour later, a bus full of devotees collided from behind with a trailer parked on the highway, a hundred meters away from the accident spot. In this accident, the bus driver and 3 passengers died on the spot. About 35 people were injured.

Strong collision between bus and trailer

The second accident also took place in Badlapur. Here a passenger bus collided with a trailer. Four people died in this accident while about 40 people were injured. It is being told that there were 42 people in the bus. Out of these, two men and two women died and 37 people were injured. Out of these, 21 people have suffered serious injuries. The remaining 11 people are slightly injured. The bus passengers are said to be residents of Delhi.
