Major relief for devotees on Guru Purnima
The Khandwa-Sanawad Dadaji Mela Special MEMU train will run for two days
Khandwa. The Railways has taken an important decision to facilitate devotees attending the fair held at Dadaji Dhuniwale Darbar in Khandwa on the occasion of Guru Purnima. Following the request of Khandwa MP Gyaneshwar Patil, the Bhusaval Railway Division has approved the operation of the Khandwa-Sanawad MEMU train as a Dadaji Mela Special on July 29th and 30th.
Central Railway Committee member Manoj Soni stated that the Khandwa-Sanawad MEMU train is sent to Bhusaval for maintenance every Wednesday and Thursday, resulting in non-regular train operations on these days. This year, due to the Guru Purnima celebrations at Dadaji Darbar being held on Wednesday and Thursday, a large number of devotees are expected to arrive in Khandwa. To provide convenience to pilgrims and residents of the region, MP Gyaneshwar Patil sent a letter to the DRM of the Bhusaval Railway Division and discussed the matter over the phone, requesting the operation of a special MEMU train on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
Accepting the MP's demand, the Railway Administration has issued a circular for the special operation of the Khandwa-Sanawad MEMU train on July 29th and 30th. This will facilitate the travel of pilgrims to and from Khandwa for the Guru Purnima fair.
Train to Run as Per Schedule
According to information, the Khandwa-Sanawad Dadaji Mela Special MEMU train will operate on July 29th and 30th under train numbers 01091/01092/01093/01094. The train will operate according to the existing schedule of the MEMU train, which currently runs five days a week.
This decision by the Railways on the occasion of Guru Purnima is expected to provide relief and convenience to the millions of pilgrims visiting Dadaji Darbar.
