In another incident, the Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Express derailed at Dibalong station in Assam on Thursday. According to the information, the incident took place around 3:55 pm. No casualties were reported in the incident, a railway spokesperson said. The train running between Agartala and Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus derailed while passing through Dibalong station. The cause of the derailment is currently under investigation and officials are working on clearing the affected tracks to minimize disruption to other services.

According to the spokesperson, the passengers on board the train were evacuated safely and arrangements are being made for their further assistance. There is no major casualty or injury and all passengers are safe.

Accident Relief Train and Accident Relief Medical Train have already left Lumding for the site of incident with senior officials of the division to monitor rescue and restoration operations. Train operations on Lumding-Badarpur single line section have been suspended.
