Satna, as per the orders of Superintendent of Police Satna Shri Ashutosh Gupta, in continuation of taking action against illegal liquor smugglers by continuously running a campaign in the police station area. On information about smuggling of illegal liquor through reliable sources, on 25.12.2023, under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Satna Mr. Vikram Singh and Deputy Superintendent of Police (Chief) Mr. Vijay Pratap Singh Parihar, by Police Station Incharge Rampur Baghelan Mr. Umesh Pratap Singh. S.U.N.I. Raid action was taken by forming a team along with Surendra Kumar. During the raid proceedings, 400 pav (72 litres) of Prince Lemon country liquor worth approximately Rs 28,000/- was seized from the possession of accused Hemant Tiwari, father Horil Prasad Tiwari, age 26, resident of village Ledra police station, Rampur Baghelan district, Satna. And the motorcycle used in the incident no. MP19 MC2279 worth Rs 55000/-, total seized Mashrooka worth Rs 83000/-, crime number 881/2023 Section 34(2) of Excise Act has been registered against the accused in Police Station Rampur Baghelan.
