Maihar, today on 21st June, in Government Vivekanand Post Graduate College Maihar, popular MLA Shri Shrikant Chaturvedi held a meeting with the Chairman of the Jan Bhagidari Samiti Santosh Pandey (Raja Bhaiya), Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Gautam, members Mrs. Ambika Veri, Mrs. Santosh Chaurasia, Rakesh Gupta, Ravi Saraf, PK Mishra, Sushil Khetpal, Santosh Agarwal, Dr. BK Gautam, Principal of Girls School, Pradeep Pandey, Dilip Dubey, Ravindra Singh etc. in the form of a meeting with the college staff. In today's first meeting, an agenda was prepared for the upliftment and progress of the college and presented in writing before the committee and some points were discussed with the suggestions of the committee members. In which, to solve all the major problems, the salary of the teachers of Jan Bhagidari Samiti, Jan Bhagidari Samiti will be increased by 5%. Necessary efforts will be made by the government for the upliftment of the college. As it is known, due to the tireless efforts of Maihar MLA Shri Kant Chaturvedi ji, Government Vivekanand College has been included in PM College Excellence after the formation of the district. Which will be inaugurated from July 1, this will prove to be a beneficial college for the students coming from rural and urban areas for the development of education for Maihar stream. Subjects of all faculties will be taught in this college. A beautiful library will be built with sufficient books. As it is known, Maihar MLA Shri Kant Chaturvedi ji had asked Maihar College to provide two buses for the students to come and go for studies, the fare of which should be very low i.e. 5 rupees (to and fro). Which all the students can afford. Certainly, with the arrangement of this bus, the maximum fare that the students used to pay for coming and going from private vehicles will be solved. Santosh Pandey, Chairman of College and Public Participation Committee, and all the students welcomed this initiative of the MLA. The PM College Excellence that Maihar College has received today will lead to qualitative improvement in education in the entire district. Everyone gave meaningful suggestions in this meeting. Everyone was welcomed by the college management. In the end, Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Gautam expressed his gratitude to all those who had come.
