Shajapur, Even after all kinds of Mughal attacks, Maharana Pratap lived with self-respect by eating roti made of grass, but he never compromised with freedom. This was said by the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav while addressing as the chief guest in the function organized on the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap in Shujalpur of Shajapur district. On this occasion, State Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Department Mr. Inder Singh Parmar, MLA Shajapur Mr. Arun Bhimawad and Kalapipal Mr. Ghanshyam Chandravanshi, District Panchayat President Mr. Hemraj Singh Sisodia, Municipality President Mrs. Babita Parmar, Mr. Ashok Nayak, District Panchayat President Mrs. Sitabai Patodia, District Panchayat Member Mr. Manohar Singh Vaghela, Mr. Kedar Singh Mandloi and representatives of Mewar community were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while addressing, said that the more you read about Maharana Pratap's life, the less it is. Maharana Pratap became a legend while he was alive. When he used to enter the war with a 76 kg armor, 80 kg spear and 02 swords, every enemy used to shy away from fighting him. Maharana Pratap's friendship not only with humans but also with his horse Chetak is still unique in the world. Despite all kinds of attacks and terror of Mughals, Maharana Pratap lived with self-respect by eating roti made of grass, but he did not compromise with freedom. It is a matter of good fortune for us that we are celebrating the birth anniversary of such a brave great man Maharana Pratap today. Because of whom the whole Mother India drowns in joy for her children. It has more importance in democracy that after getting inspiration from Maharana Pratap, the Seths and moneylenders had donated their entire treasure to Maharana Pratap at that time. Bhamashah is an example of this. He had donated his entire treasure to Maharana Pratap. The forest dwellers living in the forest also gave full support to Maharana Pratap, there was no caste discrimination at that time. Maharana Pratap used to take everyone along. Maharana Pratap was the center of respect in the whole community. Maharana Pratap has been given a place in the new education policy. Maharana Pratap is now being taught in schools, so that the next generation will get a chance to know Maharana Pratap. On this occasion, regarding the local demands, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that whatever demands have been made, including the construction of a memorial of the martyr of Mewar society posted as Naik in the Army, hostel land, installation of the statue of Maharana Pratap and naming of the square, all will be fulfilled after investigation. Earlier, the magazine Pratap Varta of Mewar society was also released by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. At the beginning of the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed with a garland. Observation of the exhibition of Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan

An exhibition of pictures of the work done under the “Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan” was also organized, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav by cutting the ribbon. Minister Mr. Inder Singh Parmar, Collector Ms. Riju Bafna, Superintendent of Police Mr. Yashpal Singh Rajput, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Santosh Tagore were also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav observed the exhibition of excellent work done in various Gram Panchayats of Shajapur district under the "Jal Ganga Sanvardhan" campaign. During this, he also praised the work of the Gram Panchayats doing excellent work. It is noteworthy that Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan is being run from 05 June to 16 June Ganga Dussehra. Through this campaign, work is being done for the conservation and revival of rivers, drains and historical and traditional water structures, ponds, lakes, wells, stepwells etc. and their cleaning and deepening work is also being done. Also, under the said campaign, boulder checks and gully plugs are being constructed with public cooperation for water conservation.
