Panna, Adivasi Dalit Kanti Sena's coordinator KP Singh Bundela informed that from 1st August to 9th August, the 'Khoota Gaado Hal Chalao' movement was conducted like every year.

In the second phase, the 'Gardina in the neck and straw in the mouth' Mahapanchayat has been decided to be held in Gajda village of Bori.

For your information, every year in the month of August, a movement is organized in Panna district regarding the Forest Act.

Under the Act, the tribal forest dwellers and Dalits who are occupying the forest land before 13th December 2005, demand a lease from the forest officer, the government should provide facilities like the common farmers, and bring about a legal uniformity in the tribal and Dalit society! The forest department is rendered helpless to get justice, and movements are carried out to wake up the government from its Kumbhakarani sleep, these movements will continue until the forest dwellers get their rights.

In this connection, a grand meeting will be held in Gajda village on 30th August. Along with main Hindus, grave injustice is done to the tribal Dalits, and the movement will be concluded by submitting a letter to His Excellency the Governor in the grand meeting, and organization members from all parts of Panna district will be present in the meeting.
