Like the year 2022, India snatched victory from the jaws of Pakistan
Pakistan could not even make a target of 120 runs
New Delhi. India's team won by 6 runs against Pakistan in a low scoring match at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. However, on the strength of Jasprit Bumrah's three-wicket haul and Hardik Pandya's tight bowling, India made a comeback and won the match. Rohit Sharma has also jointly held the record for defending the lowest target in the history of T20 World Cup 2024. Earlier, the Sri Lankan team has also defended a target of 120 runs against New Zealand in the 2014 T20 World Cup.
