Recently, in Madhubani, Manipur, militants attacked a CRPF team. Ajay Jha, a resident of Madhubani, was martyred in this attack. After the martyr's body reached the village, he was cremated with full honours. On this occasion, the entire area reverberated with slogans of Bharat Mata Jai.

In fact, on July 14, CRPF jawan Ajay Kumar Jha, a resident of Banki village in Madhubani, was martyred in an attack in Manipur. Today his last rites were performed in Madhubani. The martyr was given a final salute with full honours this morning in Banki of his native village Madhepur police station area. All military honours including police honours were given by senior CRPF officials, jawans and administration officials.

The martyr's wife Annu Devi reached home from CRPF Camp Jhapahan with her children. The relatives of the martyred soldier had also reached for the last darshan. The body of the martyred soldier reached home on Monday midnight. On Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock, the last rites were performed with military honors in the presence of senior CRPF officials, Bihar government minister Sheila Mandal, MP Rampreet Mandal, DM and SP of the district.

Ajay Kumar Jha was working in 20 BN CRPF in Dibrugarh, Assam. From where his team was sent to Jiribam in Manipur just five days ago. Where, eight kilometers away from Jiribam police station, suspected armed militants attacked his team from the mountain in Mongbung. After which the militants fled into the forest. Ajay Kumar Jha was martyred after being shot in the head and two other officers were injured.

Ajay Kumar Jha received his primary education in the government school of the village. He matriculated from Jawahar High School Madhepur in the year 1995. Then he did his inter graduation and graduation from Harshpati Singh Mahavidyalaya Madhepur. After which he was selected in CRPF in the year 2004. Let us tell you that the fire of ethnic violence between Meitei and Kuki community has been burning in Manipur for one year, in which many soldiers have been martyred so far.
