Digital map of land, plots and settlements will be prepared in the cities of Madhya Pradesh. It has started from Raisen district. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan started the city survey program by flying a drone. The Central Land Resources Department has started this program under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Program. The purpose of this program is to prepare an accurate database for urban land records.

According to the report of Univarta, this program will improve land administration by combining aerial and ground surveys with GIS technology. It will simplify property ownership records. It will also help in smooth operation of urban schemes. Accurate geospatial data will make land use planning effective and property-related transactions can be done easily. Not only this, it will improve property tax collection, which will strengthen the financial position of urban bodies.

This scheme will simplify the process of taking loan on property. The 'Naksha' program will improve transparency and governance. This initiative will curb fraud and increase people's trust in urban land management. This will boost real estate and infrastructure. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that today a pilot project of land survey (map) of urban settlements has been started from Raisen at the national level. This initiative will empower citizens in urban areas.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also said that this will streamline urban planning and reduce land related disputes. With this map program, land records will be prepared by conducting drone survey in urban areas. Also, maps will be modernized. This will ensure transparency and efficiency of land ownership. At the same time, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the program being held in Raisen is not a program of Raisen and Madhya Pradesh, but of the whole country.
