Lalbarra, the effect of Bharat Bandh on the call of Aarakshan Bachao Sanyukt Morcha against the creamy layer in reservation was seen in Balaghat district as well as Lalbarra.

The markets of the headquarters which used to be bustling with activity every day since morning, were deserted due to the bandh movement. The wheels of vehicles got jammed. The shops remained locked throughout the day. The Lalbarra bandh called on the call of Aarakshan Bachao Sanyukt Morcha was supported by BSP and other parties and the Chamber.

The agitators say that an attempt is being made to end reservation through the judicial system, due to which Scheduled Castes, Tribes, OBCs and minority communities are on the road on Wednesday for their rights.

The agitators have demanded that the government bring an ordinance to repeal the order passed by the Supreme Court. Apart from this, we have many other demands for which the protesters are on the road. Lalbarra police force is deployed at various places to deal with any kind of unpleasant situation during the movement.

The protesters held a rally at the headquarters, which reached Seoni Road Mazar from the venue and from there it again reached the tehsil office, where the Tehsildar was handed over the memorandum in the name of the Honorable President of India, Prime Minister of India, Law Minister of India, Honorable Chief Justice of India Supreme Court New Delhi, Honorable Chairman National Scheduled Caste Commission New Delhi and Honorable Chairman Scheduled Tribe Commission New World. After that this rally reached the venue where a meeting was organized.

The wheels of buses remained stopped, traffic system got affected

It is known that the wheels of buses completely stopped due to the shutdown, due to which the traffic was completely affected, people faced a lot of inconvenience in movement, while the police station in-charge Hemant Nayak took the responsibility of security on his shoulders himself, due to which no unpleasant situation has been created in the area. In the same area, emergency services like medical, milk dairy, petrol pumps remained open and government offices remained fully open but common people were not seen. After about 5 o'clock, shops started opening one by one but only a few shops were seen open.
