Meanwhile, one of the accused managed to escape, after which the police detained the driver and the pickup full of illicit liquor and started the proceedings.

Giving information about the case, Kotwali police station in-charge Anand Singh said that the value of the seized liquor is around Rs 4 lakh, along with this, an accused named Charan Singh Lodhi has been arrested, while the police is searching for the other absconding accused Raghavendra Singh.
