At night, information was received from the informer that Raja Tiwari, a resident of Ballot Ghat Katni, was carrying a country-made pistol with him and was planning to commit some serious crime. On receiving the information, the police station staff was immediately dispatched to the spot and the police reached the place indicated by the informer. The person tried to run away after seeing the police, who was caught by the police by cordoning off and after searching him, a country-made 315 bore pistol was found along with it. 02 live country made cartridges were also found with him. When inquired about the cartridge, there was no paper to be found. On asking the accused his name and address, his name was Raja Tiwari, father Shankar Lal Tiwari, age 29 years. Said to be at Ballot Ghat Katni. The police arrested him under 25,27 Arms Act and brought him to the police station and under Cr. 762/23 Section 25,27 of the Arms Act has been registered and started to be discussed. 26 criminal cases are already registered against the accused in the police station. The accused has been produced before the court.
