Kotma, dated 06/10/2024, information was received from an informer that some people are illegally excavating and transporting sand with a tractor in Reula Debari Tola Bandha. Upon receiving the information, the police staff along with the police went to the spot and conducted a raid. A blue coloured tractor number MP 65_ AA_2434 of Swaraj Company was found loading and transporting sand. On asking the name and address of the driver, he told his name to be Rajendra Prasad Panika, father Bhupat Panika, age 26 years, resident of Reula Bandha Tola Police Station Kotma and he told that he was stealing and loading sand from Debari Tola Bandha and transporting it at the behest of the tractor owner Ramnath Ghasiya, resident of Reula. A blue coloured tractor number MP 65_ AA_2434 of Swaraj Company and illegal sand loaded in a trolley, total material worth Rs. 5,53000/- was seized from his possession and the accused driver Rajendra Prasad Panika, father Bhupat Panika, age 26 years, resident A case was registered under sections 303(2) BNS and 4/21 of the Mines and Minerals Act against Reula, resident of Bandha Tola Police Station, Kotma, and the owner of the tractor, Ramnath Ghasiya, was investigated. Inspector Shri Sundresh Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector Brijesh Pandey, R. Sanjay Dwivedi and R. Driver 575 Dinesh Kirade played an important role in this case and their role was commendable.
