On 28.9.2024, information was received from an informer that on receiving information about a truck carrying cattle from Changari Lahsui village, the police staff along with them reached the spot and with great prudence parked another truck on the road near the Changari railway under bridge and stopped the truck loaded with cattle. On asking the nCURATED BY – SUSHIL SONI | CITYCHIEFNEWSame and address of the driver, he told his name to be Nizamuddin Ahmed, son of Mobin Ahmed, age 42 years, resident of Baripur Muratganj, police station Kokhraj, district Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. On asking about the goods loaded in the truck number MP 09 HG 2400, he told that 21 buffaloes were loaded and there were no documents regarding their transportation. The vehicle owner told that it was the goods of Ballu Khan. The cattle have been collected by Lakhan Sahu, resident of Garhi and Ramkumar Sahu, resident of Chulha in the bara of Dullu Khan, resident of Lahsui village. On contacting Dullu Khan and asking him to load and bring them, he told that he was loading and taking them. There were 21 buffaloes in the said truck. The buffalo cattle seized along with the truck, worth a total of ₹16 lakh 10000 rupees, have been kept in a Kanj house for safety. A case has been registered against the accused driver Nizamuddin Ahmed, Ballu Khan, Dallu Khan, Lakhan Sahu, Ramkumar Sahu under section 4, 6, 6 (a) 11 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishak Pashu Parikshan Act and section 11 d of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and under section 130/ 177 (3), 66/192 A of the Motor Vehicle Act for smuggling of cattle without permission by the driver, and investigation is underway. Apart from the driver, all the accused are absconding. In the above action, police station in-charge Sunderesh Singh, head constable Dinesh Rathore, Ramkhelavan Yadav, constable Abhay Tripathi, Chakradhar Tiwari, Dinesh Kirade and cyber cell constable Pankaj Mishra played an important role.
