Shajapur, On the occasion of National Tourism Day, on Wednesday, under the auspices of the District Archaeological Tourism and Culture Promotion Council, trekking was done by the school students with the aim of getting to know nature closely. It started from the premises of Maa Rajarajeshwari temple in the city. On this occasion, Collector Dinesh Jain, Divisional Forest Officer Mayank Chandiwal, Sub-Divisional Officer Narendranath Pandey, Vice President Municipality Santosh Joshi, Tehsildar Sunil Jaiswal, Dr. Jagdish Bhavsar, Ashish Nagar were also present.
On this occasion, Collector Mr. Jain said that it is a good thing to do tourism and reach among nature, but tourists usually leave plastic and other types of garbage at natural places, this pollutes the environment. Tourists should always keep in mind that they keep the tourist places clean, do not spread dirt. The collector asked all the children to know about their district and visit the historical places. Along with this, how farmers work in the fields, how they grow crops, what crops look like, all these things should also be included in the tourism by the students and they can see them closely. DFO Chandiwal said that there is unnecessary carbon gathering at tourist places for global warming. Whenever we go on tourism, we have to be responsible towards nature. Bring your trash back with you. Do not tamper with anything while visiting tourist places. Along with this, tourists should not unnecessarily disturb the people living naturally. Be respectful to all and enjoy the tour. On this occasion Dr. Jagdish Bhavsar threw light on the history of Shajapur in detail. Ashish Nagar informed about the historical aspects of Rajarajeshwari temple. 44 students from different schools participated in the trekking. During trekking, information about animals, birds, trees and plants etc. was given by Deputy Ranger Ashok Singh Baghel. Ranger Shivprasad Maithani, Patwari Lalit Kumbhkar were also present on this occasion. On behalf of the District Archaeological Tourism and Culture Promotion Council, Dr. Faheem Khan made the children go trekking.
