Katni, Police has arrested dreaded accused Rahul Bihari and his four other associates who were planning to rob Naira Petrol Pump in Katni. Police seized two pistols, one country-made pistol, one revolver from them.

Katni Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan, while giving information in a press conference, said that information was received from an informer that near the village Padua Road pond, a white Swift car without number plate in which 5 people have got down from the car and are sitting in the dark and are talking among themselves that they have to rob Naira Petrol Pump. They will rob the manager by pointing a country-made pistol at him. On the information of the informer, the police team reached the spot and on seeing the police approaching, there was a stampede among the miscreants. The miscreants started running away after seeing the police. The police also caught the miscreants while running after them, due to which the miscreants and the police staff also got injured. The police team caught different persons and when asked their names and addresses, the accused told their names as 1. Rahul Bihari 2. Pankaj Jaiswal 3. Anand Makhija, 4. Neeraj alias Ketu Rajak 5. Karan Bihari. 2 pistols, 1 country-made pistol, 1 revolver have been seized from the five accused. A luxury Swift car used by the five accused was searched. An iron rod, a torch, a nylon rope, an iron rod, a screwdriver, three towels and a black colored bag were found in the trunk of the car. The cost of the above seized weapons and Swift car has been estimated to be around 8 lakhs and all the accused have been presented in the court and sent to jail.
