Katni, The graph of road accidents is constantly increasing in Katni district.. In view of which Katni Police is constantly making efforts for road safety. In this context, in the median point built between the four lanes near Peerbaba bypass on National Highway 30 Jabalpur to Katni road, the dhaba/restaurant/shopkeepers had made a cut point by filling the median point with soil in front of their shops/dhabas. These routes have been closed by digging them with the help of JCB.
Katni SP Abhijeet Ranjan said that in the median point built between the four lanes near Peerbaba bypass on National Highway 30 Jabalpur to Katni road, the dhaba/restaurant/shopkeepers had made a cut point by filling the median point with soil in front of their shops/dhabas. Due to which the drivers carelessly turn the vehicle on the wrong side and cause road accidents, which leads to loss of life in road accidents. Katni Police Administration explained to the drivers along with the traffic police and also advised them to follow traffic rules while driving on the National Highway and distributed pamphlets and helmets. Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Ranjan inspected the Kashyap Dhaba Lakhapateri black spot and directed NHAI to take corrective action on the spot to prevent road accidents. And emergency numbers were pasted for police assistance in the dhabas/shops. In the median point built between the four lanes, the dhabas/restaurants/shopkeepers had made cut points by filling the median point with soil in front of their shops/dhabas. These roads have been closed by digging them with the help of JCB.
