Katni, The district administration and police administration of Katni district conducted raids on the firecracker shops and warehouses of the residents of the district. During this, the stock of firecrackers kept in the shop and the license along with the fire equipment were examined. Katni SDM CSP Tehsildar and police of Kotwali police station were present in this action.

Katni district SDM Pradeep Mishra said that after the Harda accident, he went to the firecracker warehouses and shops in Katni district and checked the stock licenses and fire equipment of firecrackers. During this operation, he is being investigated in Shankar Lal & Sons firecracker shop located at Chandak Chowk and warehouse located at Chaka and Madhavnagar. Naresh Gupta is the owner of the firecracker warehouse located at Chaka. The firecracker shops and warehouse located in Madhavnagar were also inspected. When SDM Pradeep Mishra was asked that there is a petrol pump located in front of the firecracker shops in Madhavnagar and firecrackers are being sold without any fear for 12 months, why those shops are not being separated from there, the SDM answered this question. Said that as per the rules, the petrol pump is within sufficient distance. The shops located in Madhavnagar were inspected where the distance from each other was as per the rules. Katni SDM also told that investigation has been done at 23 places. And this process is continuing continuously.
