Kargil martyr Major Chandrabhushan Dwivedi's death anniversary is being celebrated, tribute paid
Former Sabhapati Anshuman Nandan Singh and Jan-Suraj leader Neeraj Singh Industrialist paid tribute

There is a long queue of people paying tribute to Major Chandrabhushan Dwivedi, a resident of Chandiha village of Puranhiya block of Shivhar, Shivhar district, who attained martyrdom in the 1999 Kargil war, on his martyrdom day today.
RJD leader Navneet Kumar Jha, former Sabhapati Anshuman Nandan Singh, Jan Suraj leader Neeraj Singh Industrialist, former assembly candidate Radhakant Gupta alias Bacchu ji, social worker Ajab Lal Chaudhary, Mukund Prakash Mishra, Sanjay Sangharsh Singh and other intellectuals have paid tribute on his death anniversary. And it is said that every soldier of India is a true son of the motherland, due to which our country and we are safe, salute to such sons.
Martyr Major Chandrabhushan Dwivedi attained martyrdom in the Kargil war on 2 July 1999 while performing his duty and showing indomitable courage towards the motherland.
His courageous wife Bhavna Dwivedi and daughter Diksha reached the National War Memorial and participated in the Retreat Ceremony and paid tribute to their father for his valor.
Martyr Major Chandrabhushan Dwivedi, a resident of Chandiha village of Puranhiya block of Shivhar district, born on 2 January 1961, defeated the enemies in the Kargil war. At that time, he was serving as the Deputy Command Officer of the 315 Field Regiment. And was promoted to the rank of Colonel.
A martyr's memorial site has been built near the native village in the name of martyr Major Chandra Dwivedi. There is also a Kargil Chowk near the bus stand in Sitamarhi. The martyr's memorial site is in a dilapidated state due to lack of attention from the government and administration on the beautification and access path. There is a need to beautify and organize the martyr's memorial, only then we can pay true tribute to the martyrs.
