Deoband (Saharanpur). Seminars of Karate Association of India were held in Meerut. In which new rules regulations were taught. Coaches from all the districts of Uttar Pradesh participated in the seminar. The only one Elele Sihan Basant Upadhyay from Saharanpur district also participated and learned new rules of karate. Uttar Pradesh Sport Karate Association met. In which, seeing the work of Basant Upadhyay, he was made a referee commission member in Uttar Pradesh Bandi.
