The 25th Shujalpur provincial executive conference of Madhya Pradesh Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh was organized in Pandit Bal Krishna Sharma Naveen Auditorium of local Nirmal Shri Garden in Shujalpur of Shajapur district. A large number of our working journalists from all over the state participated. 21 point demands including implementation of Journalist Protection Act were put forward in the event. Addressing the program
Provincial President Shalabh Bhadauria said that a journalist gives direction to the society. He faces many difficulties in bringing the problems of the society to the fore and conveying his views to the administration and the government. The objective of the organization is to stand with and help the struggling journalist colleagues in every situation. It is the job of journalists to expose the evils of the society, the responsibility of taking action lies with the administration and the government. Calling journalists the fourth pillar is a different matter, but there is no such mention or special right in the Constitution. We should do people-oriented and society-oriented journalism. News of rape and heinous crimes do not teach the society anything, therefore such news should be given less space in the media, because negative news affects the family and culture.

Along with putting forward their demands through this conference, the call made by Shalabh ji to do people-oriented and society-oriented journalism by improving the way of journalism is commendable.
