Sarsawa | Saharanpur, A joint team of Sarsawa police station and NTF of Saharanpur district has arrested an interstate vicious smack smuggler last night. The team recovered 300 grams of smack worth around Rs 30 lakh from him. During interrogation, the accused told that he brings smack from Bareilly and sells it in the area. During checking near the toll plaza on Roorkee-Panchkula highway, the police arrested a youth standing on a bike, Irfan alias Jyoti, son of Liaquat, resident of Badhi Majra police station Gangoh. During the search, intoxicant smack was recovered from the accused. During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused was an interstate drug smuggler, who used to bring drugs from outside and sell them here. Presently the accused had brought intoxicants from Bareilly, which were to be sold here at expensive prices. Police are also searching for those people who were preparing to buy drugs from the accused.
