Anuppur, In Anuppur district, JMS Company has set up Udtan North Coal Mines Project in village Baskhala for the last one and a half years, in which permanent employment has been provided to the land owner, but the company is not following the rules and facilities of JMS Company Coal Act. The local employees demand that we should be provided all the facilities by following the rules made by Coal India. Farmers also say that we have been provided employment in exchange for the land given by us to Coal India, but that job is also without facilities. We have lost our land and the salary in the job is so low that we are facing difficulties in maintaining our family. The employees informed the government and JMS Company through a letter dated 6 2 2025 that our demands are justified as per the rules of the government, fulfill them otherwise we will protest.
