Patna, JDU's senior leader and former district president Gopal Sharma has strongly objected to the statement made by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's minister Ashok Chaudhary targeting the Bhumihar caste and has termed minister Ashok Chaudhary RJD's jackal.
JDU's senior leader and former district president Gopal Sharma said that Ashok Chaudhary's allegation that people of Bhumihar caste did not vote for the JDU candidate in Jehanabad is completely baseless. Contrary to Nitish Kumar's dreams, minister Ashok Chaudhary has been working to divide Bihar on caste lines. His statement has hurt the Bhumihar caste.
He said that Ashok Chaudhary says that 185 massacres took place in Bihar before Nitish's rule, but the truth is that at the time when the massacres were going on, Ashok Chaudhary was sitting in the lap of the king of Jungle Raj and enjoying the cream. It should be noted that Ashok Chaudhary has been the Hundaar and Siyar of the same Jungle Raj and today he is busy in misleading the public by shouting Jungle Raj-Jungle Raj.
The JDU leader said that Ashok Chaudhary is an ambitious person. He has always been involved in caste politics whereas he should know what is the existence of Bhumihars. Bhumihars have never been caste-based. This is not in the nature of Bhumihar people. Many great personalities were born in the Bhumihar society who sacrificed everything possible to eradicate casteism. Be it Shri Krishna Babu who even got his hand broken to allow Dalits to enter the Devghar temple. Swami Sahajanand Saraswati who came from this society but ran a campaign against the landlords of Bhumihar caste.
He said that Ashok Chaudhary says that we are soldiers of Nitish Kumar. If he was a true soldier of Nitish, he would not have done the work of spreading caste frenzy. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar never did caste politics but Ashok Chaudhary is today busy in spreading caste frenzy in the society against the principles and principles of Nitish Kumar. When Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister in 2005, he completely ended casteism from Bihar but Ashok Chaudhary is now promoting caste politics by making objectionable remarks on Bhumihars. The JDU leader has asked Ashok Chaudhary to explain that he himself was the in-charge in the Lok Sabha elections. He should explain why the voters of the backward and Dalit community did not vote for JDU in the villages he visited, who is responsible for this? In which villages Ashok Chaudhary was successful in getting votes, he should give his data. During the elections also, due to such nonsensical statements of Ashok Chaudhary, voters got disillusioned with JDU. Due to his statement, 70 percent of the voters distanced themselves from JDU and NDA candidate Chandravanshi lost. There are wins and losses in elections, it should be reviewed impartially but this gentleman is trying to spoil the social harmony by spewing venom against a caste. The party should put a check on this. It should be found out whether Ashok Chaudhary is working for Lalu Yadav for the next assembly elections, this needs to be investigated.
Gopal said that not only in Jehanabad but in the whole of Magadh, Bhumihars worked to unite the society. Be it upper caste or backward or Dalit, Bhumihars always stood with them. All castes were affected by the massacre at that time, and Bhumihars led them. Ashok Chaudhary has given an insulting statement to such a society for his ambitious politics, Bhumihars are hurt by this.
Expressing strong objection to Ashok Chaudhary's statement of not supporting the people of Bhumihar caste in the Lok Sabha elections, Gopal said that all the big leaders of NDA went to campaign in Jehanabad. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha, Minister Vijay Chaudhary, JDU's top leader Lallan Singh, MLC Neeraj Kumar, Bhola Babu all campaigned vigorously for the JDU candidate, but now Ashok Chaudhary should tell which Bhumihar leader of NDA he is targeting by giving objectionable statements on Bhumihars. After all, which Bhumihar leader is on Ashok Chaudhary's target?
Gopal said that Ashok Choudhary has been a party-hopper. He came to JDU from Congress but could not adopt Nitish Kumar's principles. Nature and signature never change. Ashok Choudhary proved this by speaking on Bhumihars. He betrayed the party he was in earlier and now he has come back to JDU and here also he is saying such things to please the leadership in his ambition. He said that Nitish Kumar is not happy with the statement insulting any caste but gets angry. Ashok Choudhary should apologize for his objectionable statement. His statement and his activities can harm NDA in the upcoming assembly elections, so his words should be corrected in time.
