Jabalpur, Jabalpur Lokayukta Police arrested Praveen Kumar Tiwari, Employment Assistant Secretary of Kulua Badkhera village, red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 for depositing Sambal Yojana money in the woman's account.

Jabalpur Lokayukta officer Swapnil Das said that a 6-member team is engaged in this action. Jeera Bai, a resident of Kulu Badkhera village in Katni district, had demanded Rs 20 thousand in the name of depositing Rs 2 lakh of her husband's death penalty in the woman's account under Sambal Yojana. The victim's wife Jeera Bai had complained about this to the Jabalpur Lokayukta, on the basis of which the Lokayukta has arrested the accused Employment Assistant Secretary Praveen Kumar Tiwari while taking a bribe of Rs 20 thousand in front of U Co Bank in Katni district and the MPEB Rest House located in Madhavnagar. Action is being taken against the accused.
