Meeting of District Road Safety Committee concluded under the chairmanship of District Magistrate

Saharanpur. A meeting of the District Road Safety Committee was convened in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Bansal.
In the meeting, discussions were held regarding taking all kinds of necessary steps under the standards of road safety to reduce accidents on roads.
While reviewing the points of road safety, reflective tape and tree plates should be installed on the poles and trees located on the sides of the main roads in the district in view of autumn. Along with this, the concerned department was also instructed to get the thermoplastic markings repaired on the road. Instructions were given to get road safety audit done for safe traffic near Nagal bus stand, Bajaj sugar mill on Saharanpur-Muzaffarnagar road and to get safety works done and to arrange lights at night for safe traffic on the flyover in Deoband and to put retro reflective tape on the approach road. DM Manish Bansal instructed to get diversion and warning boards and other safety works done at a proper distance from the construction site on Saharanpur Dehradun highway being done by NHAI in the district. He instructed the Public Works Department officer to get the broken dividers repaired at various places on Behat road.
On this occasion, Superintendent of Police City Abhimanyu Manglik, ARTO MP Singh, Executive Engineer PWD Mohit Gupta, Assistant Engineer Govind, Education, Health, Municipal Corporation, Police officers were present.
